I mean seriously this is the dumbest genre of libertarian “thought” — a good thing happened, because of capitalism. There is a bad thing nearby, that is government’s fault. Hundreds of millions of dollars of direct subsidies allowed Lower Manhattan to “come back.” (And can anything flourishing in high-tax high-service New York City really be an object lesson in the superiority of market forces over government?) (And Larry fucking Silverstein is an agent of “the government,” now?)
