Just say “a majority.” (Also the poll was taken in August after months of conservative professional anti-Islam bigots lying repeatedly and at length about the project, which could arguably be described as Republicans successfully hijacking a local issue. Though the Post started it so it was perhaps done to score cheap points locally.)
